Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Scientist 3 – Laboratory and Instrumentation Coordinator to join as a full-time Parexel FSP employee on a long-term assignment at a client site in Rahway, NJ. The role focuses on managing daily laboratory operations, readiness of samples, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in a life sciences or engineering field with 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong organizational, communication, and equipment management skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or similar life sciences or engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience for Scientist 3 role.
• Experience in laboratory operations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for laboratory functions and staff guidance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations during stand-downs and organizational initiatives.
• Manage temperature storage facilities and maintenance schedules.
• Prepare mobile phase and stock solutions for platform assays, ensuring expiry dates.
• Receive samples and ensure readiness for testing.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibrations, and service scheduling; coordinate technicians.
