Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Portage, MI is hiring a full-time lab supervisor. You will coordinate daily workflow, monitor testing throughput, and ensure timely results in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in chemistry/biology or related field with at least 4 years of lab experience, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. You will mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related concentration with 4+ years of laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and monitor daily tasks to meet turnaround times.
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, evaluate succession plans in preparation for growth
• Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
• Troubleshoot and solve both instrumental and method issues
• Lead and write investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements
• Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations
