Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Director of Laboratory Operational Finance & Compliance to oversee billing and compliance across the OH laboratories. This leadership role requires partnering with Revenue Cycle, Finance, HIM, and IT to ensure accurate coding, test builds, pricing, and regulatory adherence.

The role emphasizes education development, audits, and the ability to drive change in a complex, matrixed environment, with a hybrid schedule and travel to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of relevant experience in laboratory billing, coding, or compliance.
• Master’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Certification in healthcare billing/coding or compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the laboratory billing and compliance program.
• Lead billing team across the Orlando Health footprint.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to support operations, compliance, and quality.
• Ensure accuracy of CPT and LOINC codes and testing pricing.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Finance, HIM, HIT, Compliance, and laboratory teams across the system.
• Participate in survey readiness activities and education initiatives for OH team members.
