Job summary

Marathon Health LLC seeks a Pennsylvania Laboratory Director to oversee all laboratory operations within the primary care office, ensuring CLIA compliance and maintaining quality systems to support accurate, timely patient testing.

You will supervise staff, provide clinical oversight of all testing phases, and ensure safety, documentation, and reporting to state health authorities as required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/PhD/DNP level education is required.
• Board certification and CLIA director qualifications are required or applicable.
• Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, CMS, FDA, PA Department of Health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CLIA compliance and quality management across sites.
• Provide clinical oversight of testing processes (pre-analytic, analytic, post-analytic).
• Supervise and develop lab staff and ensure competency.
• Oversee safety and facility standards in the laboratory environment.
• Maintain thorough documentation and report changes to the PA Department of Health.
