Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific field per CLIA requirements.
• Valid clinical laboratory license or certification; ASCP preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory clinical laboratory experience.
• General accounting and statistics and financial operating experience.
• Quality control and quality tools knowledge desirable.
• LEAN Six Sigma certification preferred; Master’s degree optional.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management of the clinical laboratory and related departments.
• Provide operational guidance to local site management and promote standardization.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal (CLIA), CAP, and TJC standards.
• Coordinate with Corporate Laboratory Operations Leadership on policies and equipment.
• Drive KPIs in finance, quality, and service; lead special projects as needed.
• Perform routine laboratory testing to support the department as required.
