Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver, CO is seeking a Coordinator Laboratory Assistant to manage scheduling, training and coordination of Lab Assistant staff within the Microbiology COE. The role ensures specimen processing follows procedures and supports the leadership team by addressing issues and communicating with management.

Responsibilities may include responding to lab requests and, when needed, performing blood collection.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2 years experience preferred
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: None
• No Travel Required

Responsibilities

• Schedules, trains and coordinates Lab Assistant staff within the COE (Centers of Excellence, Microbiology department).
• Works with technical coordinators and leadership to ensure specimens are processed per procedure.
• Responds to lab requests, problem solves and communicates issues to management.
• May perform blood collection if needed.
