About This Position
The Laboratory Care Technician performs specimen collection, ensures safe handling, and conducts point-of-care testing. The role involves continuous improvement, supporting department goals, and demonstrating the hospital’s mission, vision, values, and guiding principles.
Requirements
Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Experience
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to workflow changes.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and dependable.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to handle conflicts positively and consider others' needs.
• Commitment to quality customer service and safety standards.
• Effective reading, writing, and speaking in English.

Work Details
Location: Maple Grove
Hours: 64 hours per two weeks, Evening shifts (8 hours), Every 3rd weekend, On-site
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Benefits: Health insurance options available
Salary: Based on experience, using salary grades
Shift Differential: Possible depending on shift
