Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Client Billing Specialist to manage accounts receivable for laboratory clients and answer billing questions. Location: Murray, UT. Hours are Monday–Friday, business hours; hourly pay range $28.06–$44.20.

The role requires 3 years of medical lab billing or client account management experience and strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Three years of medical laboratory billing or client account management experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client accounts for compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as Intermountain requirements.
• Follow up with clients to ensure timely collections.
• Audit client accounts/invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service with strong phone communication.
• Ensure accuracy of outside lab invoices and correct billing to patient/client accounts.
• Work with payment research to allocate laboratory payments to the correct facility/department.
• Identify issues/trends with client orders that may affect financials.
• Potentially meet with clients to discuss concerns or issues.
