Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for testing and ensure they meet laboratory criteria.
• Perform daily maintenance and replenish supplies and reagents as needed.
• Assist in disposal of biohazard bags and manage waste per procedures.
• Generate, distribute, and monitor worksheets and pending reports.
• Register, map, retrieve, and manage specimens/paraffin blocks as needed.
• Prepare department reagents and buffers as required.
• Pull samples from other locations for pending tests.
• Ensure proper identification and compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
• Attend trainings and meetings to support process improvements.
