Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for testing following laboratory criteria.
• Perform daily maintenance and replenish supplies and reagents.
• Assist in disposal of biohazard bags per lab procedures.
• Generate, distribute, and monitor worksheets and pending reports.
• Register, map, retrieve, and discard specimens/paraffin blocks as needed.
• Prepare department- or instrument-specific reagents and buffers.
