Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a phlebotomy/lab support role to perform phlebotomy, collect, prepare and process specimens. You will assist in laboratory activities, ensure accurate data and maintain a safe work environment.

The position involves two 12-hour day shifts per week with a 24-hour weekly commitment, and may require BLS certification. Compensation includes a salary range and access to Daily Pay options. Sanford Health is an EEO/AA Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program preferred.
• BLS certification may be required.

Job Description

Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
