Job summary

Sanford Health in Rapid City, SD seeks a part-time phlebotomy technician to join the laboratory team. You will perform phlebotomy, collect, prepare and process specimens, and help ensure accurate data entry and workflow.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), completion of a phlebotomy program, experience in a lab setting, and potential BLS certification. Day shifts, on-site; 20 hours per week with no weekends.

Job Description

Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
