The role includes tasks such as sorting specimens, handling patient requests, and adhering to laboratory procedures. Competitive compensation ranging from $16.00 to $24.00 per hour, alongside health benefits and 401K.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a Laboratory preferred.
• Medical terminology and computer application preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists laboratory personnel in daily accessioning.
• Receives, sorts, and performs accurate data entry for specimens.
• Follows appropriate handling requirements for patient specimens.
• Identifies and documents situations that may adversely impact test performance.
• Answers, screens, and directs phone calls received in the laboratory.
