Responsibilities

• Collect blood from patients of all ages as required by physician orders.
• Process blood for testing in laboratory areas.
• Respond to phone inquiries and refer issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean working environment and manage inventory to reduce waste.
• Document corrective actions and report problems to management.
• Educate and train new personnel within the Laboratory scope of practice.
