Job summary

This position requires 3–7 years of experience, an associate degree (enrollment eligible with degree within 12 months) and preferred phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required; enrollment eligible and degree to be obtained within 12 months.
• Prior experience in a clinical lab setting is preferred and demonstrated competency training.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily specimen procurement activities and staff performance.
• Manages schedules, training, competency assessments and performance reviews.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and patient safety in the lab workflow.
• Collects blood from patients as ordered and handles specimen processing for testing.
• Supports quality assurance initiatives and cross-department collaboration.
