Position Title: Laboratory Assistant, Anatomic Pathology

Purpose & Scope:

The Laboratory Assistant provides valuable assistance to the Histotechnologist and the Pathologists in maintaining facilities and providing the materials necessary for the practice of Anatomic Pathology. This includes responsibilities in autopsies, surgical pathology gross examination, frozen sections, and Histopathology.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:

One year of laboratory experience is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

None required.
