Job Title: Technical Laboratory Assistant

Contract Details:

• Duration: 4 Months
• Work Type: Onsite
• Location: Irving, TX
• Schedule: Day shift, Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm CST

Job Description:

The Technical Laboratory Assistant performs routine laboratory activities to support the laboratory staff and facilitate production. Responsibilities include specimen sorting, routine equipment maintenance, specimen processing, reagent preparation, QA/QC duties, and safety compliance. The role requires maintaining accurate records, decontaminating work areas, and operating laboratory systems and PCs. This position involves handling biohazardous materials and following all safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant training and science courses preferred.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, retain information, and interact courteously with coworkers and clients.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and follow safety regulations.
