Job summary

Shannon Medical Center is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood draws in the laboratory and hospital settings. The role requires attention to patient safety and accurate specimen collection.

Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, labeling specimens, and following lab protocols. Education must include a high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification within 90 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lab/reference manuals, formulary reis, ICD-9 book, and reference lab procedures.
