Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Lab Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Nashville, TN. This is a 3+ month contract with potential contract-to-hire, ideal for starting with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Pay rate is $18-$21 per hour on W2, with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Duration is 3+ months. Accommodations will be provided as needed to ensure a safe, compliant lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior medical, lab, or production experience preferred.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.
• Able to identify and process specimens accurately.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Specialty: Histology.
• Standing approximately 50% of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical laboratory specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Scan and enter specimen and patient information.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is functioning properly and perform basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues.
• Replenish laboratory supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and other administrative tasks.
• Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines.

Pay Rate: $18 - $21/hr. on W2.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Duration: 3+ months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
