Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ALAT Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a laboratory animal facility.
• Four years of experience in a laboratory animal facility with training employees may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
• Other relevant teaching/educational experience may substitute for the required experience on a year-by-year basis.

• Develop and deliver training on all aspects of animal care, safety, and departmental processes.
• Develop assessment and evaluation tools to create training plans for staff development.
• Create training plans for staff development to aid in their growth.
