Qualifications

• High School Diploma; plus two years of related experience or a bachelor's degree.
• Basic knowledge of principles, terminology, practices, techniques and instrumentation commonly used in a laboratory setting
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work with delicate laboratory equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and ensure compliance with state, federal and accreditation requirements.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Operate and setup laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Record observations and data accurately; perform basic data interpretation.
• Maintain logs, notebooks and equipment records; support data entry in LIMS.
