Job summary

Advanced Group is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to support analytical operations, review and report GC/MS and LC/MS/MS data, and maintain rigorous chain-of-custody and documentation in a regulated lab environment.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, collaboration with lab leadership, and adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards within a dynamic team in Santa Rosa, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Experience handling biological specimens, chemicals, and lab instrumentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process GC/MS and LC/MS/MS data per SOPs.
• Verify sample identification, batch sequence accuracy, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Generate reports and enter results into LIS.
• Conduct first-level review of analytical data and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Support compliance with laboratory quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Communicate testing issues and data discrepancies to leadership.
