The People Services Manager - Labor Relations will align Labor Relations and HR strategy with operational activities to support business goals. The role involves working with field leadership to address risks related to low teammate engagement, analyzing business needs concerning talent, training, compensation, HR policies, and legislative changes. Experience in labor relations and teammate engagement is essential. The position requires balancing project work and crisis response.

This position is based in California or Denver, CO, reporting to the Director of Labor Relations, with travel up to 40% to support teammate engagement efforts.

This is a dynamic role that will evolve with organizational growth. Our HR Business Partner provides HR expertise and leadership to management and teammates on HR issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Labor Relations strategy team, operational leaders, and external partners to foster positive employee relations.
  • Lead training and deployment of selected leaders nationwide, tracking efforts.
  • Manage labor relations projects in hotspot markets, assessing risks and coordinating resources.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, coach, and influencer for leaders.
  • Design and facilitate labor relations training sessions; identify manager development needs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and analyze policy impacts.
  • Use analytics to address retention, engagement, and pay concerns.
  • Identify and act on potential labor relations issues proactively.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Labor/Industrial Relations, HR, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, including 3 years in labor relations strategy and initiatives.
  • 3+ years providing training and coaching on labor relations.
  • SHRM PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience in large, multi-site organizations preferred.

Additional Information
