Job summary

Ohio State University seeks an experienced labor relations expert to support Employee & Labor Relations leadership and HR partners. You will serve as the operational lead for labor relations, guiding day-to-day contract administration and ensuring consistent workforce practices while educating stakeholders.

You will establish relationships with union and management representatives, lead grievance processes, and coordinate arbitration and mediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• PHR/SPHR or other professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in employee and labor relations; 8-12 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead grievance and committee processes and coordinate arbitration.
• Guide contract administration and labor service delivery in alignment with ELR leadership.
• Develop labor relations training and provide guidance on compliance and risk.
