Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, NJ is seeking a Lead, HR Business Partner (Labor Relations) to drive strategic labor relations and CBA management. You will report to the Director of Employee and Labor Relations and serve as chief negotiator on select CBAs, supporting contract administration and investigations.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Graduate degree with several years of labor relations experience, US citizenship, and strong skills in negotiation, analytics, and confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of Labor relations experience.
• Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of Labor relations experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 12 years of Labor relations experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate CBAs and labor contracts.
• Assist in the development of business continuation plans.
• Interpret the CBA and advise on its application.
• Perform investigations and prepare grievance responses.
• Train leaders on managing a union workforce and CBA.
• Mentor field HR partners to develop ELR acumen.
• Use trends to provide proactive recommendations for ELR issues.
• Identify issues and implement root-cause solutions to improve engagement.
• Collaborate with HRBPs to influence business priorities.
• Manage projects within and outside the HR function.
• Improve standard work for the ELR function.
• Serve as chief labor negotiator with labor strategy.
• Support a bargaining unit and build relationships with union reps.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching skills.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate in a team and work independently.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; analyze and display data.
• Knowledge of HR systems like PeopleSoft, Oracle, and SuccessFactors.
• Other duties as assigned.
