Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a highly skilled Contracts Lead to negotiate, communicate, and influence contract terms, policies, and procedures. You will identify process improvements to enhance contract management efficiency and drive operational plans that deliver measurable results.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of contract law, negotiation, and administration within the defense industry, with up to 25% travel and a leadership focus across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS and a wide range of contract types and efforts (e.g. CPFF, FFP, IF, AF).
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to implement strategies that advance critical business objectives.
• RFP review, risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, change management and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs.
• Lead complex negotiations to develop overarching negotiation and contract management strategies to mitigate risk.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex contracting issues in line with organizational objectives.
• Serve as contracts point of contact both internal and external to the organization.
