Job summary

Arconic Tennessee Operations seeks a Labor Relations HR Business Partner to advise leadership on labor relations, HR policies, and programs affecting engagement, job progression, and compliance within Operations, Maintenance, and Staff, including negotiations with the Union.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years in labor relations or HR role
• Manufacturing experience required
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Advise Plant leadership and HR on administration of CBAs and HR policies
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and ensure regulatory compliance
• Identify opportunities to implement labor relations practices improving efficiency
• Lead grievance hearings and support arbitration presentations
• Provide one-stop HR support for assigned departments and acts as plant-wide HR lead for certain functions
• Ensure employment practices comply with CBAs and equal employment opportunity laws
