Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Joliet, IL seeks an Employee/Labor Relations Manager in the Human Resources department to lead employee and labor relations activities, advise management on policy, performance, pay practices, and labor agreements. This role collaborates with leaders to ensure compliant, fair practices and effective employee relations across the organization.

You will conduct investigations, coach managers through sensitive situations, ensure compliance with FLSA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA and OSHA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field.
• Three to five years of experience at a management or senior administrative level with emphasis on employee/labor relations.
• Knowledge of HR regulations including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, OSHA and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage Employee/Labor relations activities and provide day-to-day leadership to employees and management.
• Coach managers on resolution of sensitive employee situations, performance improvement, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Conduct employee investigations and assist with grievances; maintain all relevant correspondence with employees.
