Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of human resources and union-specific data.
• Experience working in a union environment.
• Proficient in MS Office products, advanced Excel skills, experience with Power BI preferred.
• Experience with creating and using financial models.
• Experience working in higher education administration, business analytics, BI, IT.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate union data across various business subject areas within Harvard.
• Provide support on diverse analyses and reporting services, including statistical analyses and presenting data.
• Conduct specialized analysis of union staff data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to HR leadership and union representatives.
• Support gathering business requirements, act as primary contact for data utilization in labor and union questions, troubleshoot data issues, and QA data and applications.
• Develop dashboards and reports, and deliver management summaries and oral presentations to clients.
• Assist with data access maintenance, data dictionaries, and use of HR analytics tools like QlikView and SQL.
