Job summary

Temco Logistics seeks a Labor Planning Analyst to support workforce planning, scheduling, staffing analysis, and labor reporting across multiple business lines. You will partner with Operations, Recruiting, HR, Finance, and field leadership to align staffing with business demand.

The role involves analyzing labor data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations for site leaders and executives.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytics, operations, or HR to support staffing insights.
• Strong Excel and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable staffing recommendations.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze labor, staffing, scheduling, and workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Support labor forecasting and workforce planning efforts across multiple operational business units.
• Partner with Operations, Recruiting, Human Resources, and Finance to align staffing needs with business demand.
• Monitor approved staffing levels and support workforce planning recommendations.
• Evaluate scheduling effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve labor utilization and workforce efficiency.
• Create recurring and ad hoc reports to support leadership decision-making.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of labor KPIs, workforce analytics, and reporting tools.
• Review workforce trends including staffing levels, turnover, overtime utilization, compensation data, and scheduling performance.
• Translate complex or large data sets into clear findings and recommendations for business leaders.
• Work directly with site leadership to understand operational challenges and identify staffing or scheduling solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to various levels of leadership, including General Managers, Regional Leaders, and Vice Presidents.
• Support process improvement initiatives related to labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and workforce management.
• Collaborate across multiple departments to drive business outcomes and support operational goals.
