Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services is seeking a Labor Journeyman to perform basic housekeeping on construction sites, including debris removal, cleaning trailers, and assisting with material storage. You will navigate uneven terrain and support carpenters and masons under the foreperson’s direction, maintaining safety and reporting incidents.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, construction experience preferred, and OSHA 10 recommended.

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred.
• OSHA 10 hour certification recommended; Next 150 will assist to obtain.

• Any other scope of work approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management

Responsibilities

LaborJourneymen typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform setup and clean up tasks at job site, including removal of construction debris
• Navigate construction job site terrain
• Clean & sanitize jobsite trailers
• Assist with basic deliveries & material storage
• Housekeeping interior and exterior project site
• Provide labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors, work to be directed & planned by Foreperson
• Reporting all safety incidents & injuries to Foreperson and Safety Leader
• Any scope of work outside of they above listed, shall be planned, documented, and approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• High school diploma or GED
• Construction experience preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• OSHA 10 hour certified recommended, (Next 150 Construction will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary)
• Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
• Ability to work in a team environment
