Next 150 Construction Services seeks a labor journeyman to perform basic housekeeping on construction sites and to assist skilled trades as needed. The role emphasizes safety, site cleanliness, and seamless support to carpenters, masons and forepersons in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves debris removal, trailer sanitation, and material handling, with responsibilities directed by the foreperson and safety leadership. A strong teamwork mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• OSHA 10 hour certification recommended; assistance available to obtain.
• Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site, removing debris.

• Clean and sanitize jobsite trailers.
• Assist with basic deliveries and material storage.
• Housekeeping of interior and exterior project areas.
• Provide labor support to carpenters, masons and other contractors as directed by Foreperson.
• Report all safety incidents and injuries to Foreperson and Safety Leader.
• Any unlisted scope to be planned and approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management.

Overview

Responsibilities

LaborJourneymen typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform setup and clean up tasks at job site, including removal of construction debris
• Navigate construction job site terrain
• Clean & sanitize jobsite trailers
• Assist with basic deliveries & material storage
• Housekeeping interior and exterior project site
• Provide labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors, work to be directed & planned by Foreperson
• Reporting all safety incidents & injuries to Foreperson and Safety Leader
• Any scope of work outside of they above listed, shall be planned, documented, and approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• High school diploma or GED
• Construction experience preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• OSHA 10 hour certified recommended, (Next 150 Construction will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary)
• Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
• Ability to work in a team environment
