A leading global law firm is seeking a 2nd–4th year Associate to join its Labor & Employment practice in Florham Park, New Jersey. This is an opportunity to work within a nationally recognized team on a mix of employment litigation and advisory work for clients across a range of industries.

The role offers strong exposure to both contentious and counseling matters, providing a well-rounded employment practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation and whistleblower claims
• Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs
• Advise clients on employment law issues including terminations, performance management and wage and hour compliance
• Support internal investigations and risk mitigation strategies
• Draft employment agreements and workplace policies
• Work closely with clients on day-to-day employment matters

Who You Are

• 2–4 years of employment litigation experience (defense-side)
• Experience at a regional or national law firm
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
• Experience advising on employment law compliance matters
• Strong attention to detail and ownership of work
• Admitted to the New Jersey Bar (New York admission preferred)

Compensation

Salary Range: $200,000 – $235,000 (DOE)
