Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Redwood Falls, MN. The role involves patient assessment, bedside care, and collaboration with obstetric teams to ensure safe labor and delivery. Work is a 12-hour night shift with a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments using obstetric nursing techniques.
• Assist physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
