Job summary

Redeemer Health is seeking an LDR Surgical Technician to support the nursing team with supplies, equipment and sterile room setup. The technician also serves as the scrub tech for Cesarean sections under the RN Circulator, providing direct patient care and selected procedures under supervision.

Required are a high school diploma, accredited surgical tech training, CPR certification, and strong organizational and communication skills; prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program required.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in managing supplies, equipment and inventory.
• Prepare equipment and rooms using aseptic techniques.
• Serve as scrub technician for Cesarean Sections under RN Circulator supervision.
• Provide direct patient care and perform selected therapeutic interventions and diagnostic procedures under RN direction.
