Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in New Britain, CT is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Labor and Delivery. You will maintain an aseptic environment, prepare instrumentation, supplies and equipment, and support room turnover for scheduled cases.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, and at least 1 year of surgical tech/OR experience; CST certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate surgical care for labor and delivery patients maintaining an aseptic environment.
• Ensure required instrumentation, supplies and equipment are readily available.
• Assist with room turnover between scheduled cases.
