Hartford HealthCare in New Britain, CT is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Labor and Delivery. You will maintain an aseptic environment, prepare instrumentation, supplies and equipment, and support room turnover for scheduled cases.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, and at least 1 year of surgical tech/OR experience; CST certification is preferred.

Surgical Technologist will facilitate the surgical care of the labor and delivery patient maintaining an aseptic environment. S/He will insures that all required instrumentation, supplies and equipment are readily available. In addition will assists with room turnover between schedule cases.
High school diploma or GED required
Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program
1 year of surgical tech or OR work experience
Critical thinking skills
Must be able to work in stressful environment
CST certification preferred
Manual dexterity
