Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking a Labor and Delivery Scrub Tech under RN guidance to support C-section and tubal ligation cases, prepare delivery tables, and assist physicians in the OR. This role focuses on sterile technique and teamwork in a fast-paced obstetric unit.
You will begin as a Certified Nursing Assistant and receive scrub training within 90 days. The unit emphasizes patient care, safety, and professional growth, with a schedule of 36 hours weekly on
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), this position provides care for women and newborns. The Labor/Delivery Scrub Tech utilizes sterile techniques to prepare surgical suites for C-Section and tubal ligation cases, prepares delivery tables for vaginal births, and functions as an operating room technician, assisting physicians with surgical procedures.
Location: St. George Hospital - St. George, Utah
Schedule: Full-time | 36 hours/week | 12-hour shifts
Shifts: Nights, weekends, & holidays
Pay: Starting at $18.94+ (based on experience)
Join our Labor and Delivery unit specialized for pregnant individuals to give birth, offering comfortable amenities and medical technology. We provide a range of services, from routine and high-risk pregnancy care to pain management options, and are staffed by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, RNs, certified nursing assistants (scrub techs), anesthesiologists, and other specialists available 24/7. We handle emergency situations like C-sections and have on-site operating rooms for immediate access.
