Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Registered Nurse for 24hr Special Weekend Nights at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. The RN delivers professional nursing care, uses the nursing process and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support patient populations in accordance with standards of care.

The role requires critical care experience in multiple specialties and certifications; opportunities span ED, ICU, oncology, and maternity units with a strong emphasis on safety and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 years Critical Care/GI experience for Adult GI.
• ACLS required within first year of employment.
• CCGRN certification preferred.
• BSN required for ART nurse.
• Minimum 1 year in reproductive endocrinology.
• 3 years Oncology nursing strongly preferred; OCN within first year.
• BLS/ACLS certifications required.
• 2 years ICU experience.
• NRP required within first year.
• Peri-operative Nursing Program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.
• Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Adhere to BORN regulations and professional standards of care.
