Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. You will assess patients across physical, psychological, developmental, and spiritual factors; develop care plans and administer treatments following physician orders.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with the medical team, document care, and ensure infection control standards. A nursing license and BLS/ACLS are required, with RN responsibilities in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

RN license in state of practice (or compact state)
Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
Ability to work as a team player within a unit
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments across physical, psychological, developmental, and spiritual factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and reassess regularly.
Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure safety.
Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
Monitor infection control and safety standards to maintain a safe environment.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
