Job summary

Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for Labor and Delivery to coordinate patient care on the unit and support the Nurse Manager. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, CA RN license, and BLS, plus 3 years of L&D experience.

The unit has 17 beds with 24-hour OB services; Providence training or equivalent L&D experience preferred. This is a full-time night-shift position with weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• California RN License required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - AHA required.
• 3 years' experience in Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the Patient Care Unit to facilitate quality patient care and support the Nurse Manager.
• Assume responsibility for nursing unit administration in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
• Ensure safe, evidence-based care on the Labor & Delivery unit and oversee staffing and patient flow.
