Care Career is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN to join our hospital-based maternity team in Brunswick, Georgia. The Labor & Delivery unit handles antepartum triage, labor, delivery, C-section circulation and recovery, and postpartum care.

Experience in acute-care settings is preferred, with orientation available for those transitioning from another acute-care specialty. This role requires flexibility for weekend/holiday/on-call shifts and a GA RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree nursing program.
• Current RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Minimum 1 year of acute-care hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association BLS certification prior to hire.
• Ability to provide postpartum nursing care.
• Ability to meet unit weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements.

Responsabilités

• Manage the care of assigned obstetric patients using clinical judgment and decision-making.
• Perform obstetric triage and antepartum assessment.
• Provide nursing care throughout labor and vaginal delivery.
• Serve as circulating RN during Cesarean sections.
• Provide post-anesthesia and post-Cesarean recovery care.
• Provide postpartum nursing care as needed.
• Assess patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care with appropriate resources.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and staff for optimal patient care.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout childbirth.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital safety standards.
