Care Career seeks a Labor & Delivery RN for Brunswick, GA, joining a hospital-based Maternity Care Center. The role covers obstetric care from antepartum through postpartum, with a six-month orientation for those transitioning from other acute-care specialties.

Base pay ranges with shifts and overtime; sign-on and relocation bonuses are available to qualified candidates. Weekend and on-call rotations are required as part of scheduling.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree nursing program.
• Current RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Minimum 1 year of acute-care hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association BLS certification prior to hire.
• Ability to provide postpartum nursing care.
• Ability to meet the unit's weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the care of assigned obstetric patients using clinical judgment.
• Perform obstetric triage and antepartum assessment.
• Provide nursing care throughout labor and vaginal delivery.
• Serve as a circulating RN during Cesarean sections.
• Provide post-anesthesia and post-Cesarean recovery care.
• Provide postpartum nursing care as needed.
• Assess patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care using appropriate resources.
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate and support patients and families through childbirth.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and safety standards.
