Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team. You will contribute to the care of patients across general medicine and surgery settings, using evidence-based practices under nursing leadership.

Clinical instruction and the Nurse Residency program support new graduates. CT RN licensure, BLS and strong communication are required, with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
• Registered Nurse, CT license and BLS certification required.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for complex patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Precept and/or charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
