Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting. You will work under Nursing Leadership with an interdisciplinary team, applying evidence-based practices and developing care plans for complex patient populations.

Ideal candidates have an RN license in CT, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and completion of nurse residency if applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
• One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
• Licensed Registered Nurse, State of CT.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional certifications may be required in specific specialties.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of Nursing Leadership, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team.
• Uses evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Develops a plan of care for complex patient populations.
• Meets physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
