Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery (PRN). You will deliver direct patient care, practice therapeutic communication, and safeguard PHI while applying the nursing process and documentation.

You’ll work within a team to meet patient needs and hospital goals. Requirements include a BSN or ASN, BLS, ACLS/NRP within 6 months, AWHONN certifications within 1 year, and Tennessee or compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (B.S. or A.S.).
• 1 year of L&D RN experience required for PRN.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire is required.
• NRP within 6 months of hire is required.
• AWHONN basic, intermediate and advanced within one year.
• Current Tennessee Board of Nursing licensure or Compact State licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of RN practice.
• Use therapeutic communication and maintain a safe environment.
• Ensure patient privacy and PHI confidentiality.
• Apply nursing process and document care for patients.
