Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Rutherford County, TN is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for PRN shifts. The ideal candidate holds a BSN or ASN and an active Tennessee license (or compact state) with BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN credentials.

You will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity labor and delivery unit. The role emphasizes therapeutic communication, patient safety, and adherence to the hospital’s mission while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-quality

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (BSN/ASN).
• 1 year of RN experience; Labor and Delivery experience for PRN positions.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications expected within stated timeframes.
• TN Board of Nursing license or Compact State license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within RN scope in Labor and Delivery.
• Maintain safe therapeutic environment and document care using nursing process.
• Assist in staff assignments when acting as charge nurse and coordinate care.
• Protect patient privacy and PHI; demonstrate critical thinking and procedures.
