Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine invites applications for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a 12-hour shift (7p–7:30a). Weekly working hours are PRN, with compensation aligned to experience within Johns Hopkins Health System.

You will coordinate care for assigned patients, guide the care team, and apply evidence-based nursing processes to promote safety and outcomes. Requires ADN; BSN preferred and must matriculate toward BSN; CPR on hire; minimum 6 months nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN work authorization and CPR certification on hire.
• ADN required for consideration; BSN preferred and must matriculate to BSN.
• Minimum six months of nursing experience.
• CPR certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care for assigned patients on a shift to promote clinical outcomes.
• Provides direction to other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Participates in performance appraisal and contributes to quality clinical improvement.
• Demonstrates adherence to cost-effective use of resources and institutional standards.
