Qualifications

• Requires nursing degree with valid Illinois RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• C-EFM and NRP certifications within stated timeframes.
• Labor and delivery experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient-centered nursing care.
• Assessing and monitoring patient status.
• Recognizing and responding to clinical changes.
• Delegating tasks appropriately to staff.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve unit goals.

Education

Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree

Current Illinois RN licensure

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

ACLS certification within six months of hire

Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months

Labor and delivery experience (preferred)
