Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If ADN only, must graduate with a BSN within five years of start date.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• ACLS within six months of start date.
• C-EFM within one year of start date.
• NRP certification within six months of start date.
• Labor and delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care per Illinois Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies, assesses patient condition, plans and evaluates care, and documents progress. Delegates tasks and works as part of the team to meet unit goals.
